Hi hi! This post is a goodie. I thought it would be fun to write a blog all about my favourite Candy and let’s be honest….Who doesn’t love candy right?
A little backstory if you will…
When little Matty was learning to walk the typical techniques on teaching your child to walk did not work for me. My Mom and Dad read books, asked friends, talked to doctors, and even got help from family members - but nothing worked.
My parents told me a story about our family movie nights, every Saturday night my parents would take my older brother and I to Blockbuster to rent movies and stop off at the local Candy store to buy all our favourite candies. On this particular family movies night we rented the 1982 blockbuster hit E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and the most popular scene in the movie was when the main character Eliot made a row of Reese’s Pieces to lure E.T. out of hiding and not to scared.
My Mom and Dad looked at each other and it was like a light bulb went off! The next day they made a trail of my favourite candy “Smarties” and that is how little Matty learned to walk!

90’s candy kid
Fruit Gushers, usually just called Gushers, are a fruity candy snack with a variety of flavors of the 90s and that fruit-flavored juice as you bite into the semi-soft gel-gummy outer shell were my favourite candy growing up.
I remember sneaking a box into my backpack to bring with me to high school. My older brother used to get so annoyed that he could never get his hands on a pack haha! Also, if you know, you know that the blue fruit gushers were the best flavour. If you found more then one blue gusher in a pack it was like winning the lottery!

Well, you know there is candy involved you know that I would need to write about some Disney magic. Visiting Walt Disney World makes for an exciting vacation and especially during the holidays. It's no surprise that the parks double the magic and double the holiday themed food.
I couldn’t be more happier to get my hands on one of the Festive Mickey Popcorn Bucket! I would carry my Mickey Bucket around with me around the parks and fill him up with Disney Popcorn and let me tell, Walt Disney World Popcorn is the best popcorn I’ve ever tasted! Even better then the movie theatres…seriously!

Matty
