Board game fun!

Are you like me and love a playing a classic board game like Life, Monopoly, Clue, or even a pop culture themed board game?

Recently, I binge watched the British historical drama television series Downton Abbey and fell in love with show and all the characters. That’s when I found Clue: Downtown Abbey Addition by Hasbro Gaming and added it to my online shopping cart! I’m super excited to #bringdowntonhome

Game nights are a fun way to spend time together it makes the night fill of laughter, fun and of course (maybe some role play…who wants to be the Dowager Countess of Grantham)

DIY Candle making

Are you obsessed with burning candles during the winter season, well you are not alone! I can burn through three candles a month. Over the lockdown I’ve spent some time researching on how to make your own candles and it turns out they are super easy to make and here are the steps for you to try at home.

DIY Soy Candle Making Kit includes 100% soy wax, cotton wicks, a pouring pot, tea light tins, big tins, colour stick, essential oils and this is the kit I use and it is amazing!

Steps:

1. Heat wax to 185 F until melted

2. Add your fragrance of choice, stir well and remove from heat.

3. While the wax is cooling, place a wick sticker on the bottom of your jar and center the wick inside the jar.

4. When the wax cools to 135 F, carefully pour the wax evenly into the your jar.

5. Place the wick bar with the center peak facing up on top of your jar. This will keep the wick straight and centered while the candle is cooling.

6. Trim wick to 1/4 in. before lighting and

Voila!

Congratulations, you just made your first soy candle!
