A Morning Routine to start the day with a Smile!
7:30am: Wake up Alarm
I set my alarm the same time everyday of the week (expect on weekends) I find it helps with a easier wake up as it keeps you on a schedule but I do stay in bed for about 10 mins after the alarm goes off before getting ready.
7:40AM: Make the bed
This one is huge for me so otherwise, I feel like a mess. Call me crazy haha! But I like to see it clean with the pillows all stacked up and looking fresh.
7:41am: Shower time
I love taking showers in the mornings it wakes me up and lately I have been using Clinique Charcoal Face Wash and wow such a game changer especially in the mornings.
7:55am: Skincare
My skincare changes time to time when I get introduced to new products or tools like my new Jade Roller from MasqueBar which I’ve been loving! Here is a list of the products I use and if you guys want a more detail breakdown let me know in the comments.
8:15am: Coffee! & breakfast
Coffee is a must in my morning routine! Monday through Friday I make my coffee at home with the Keurig Pod Machine and then on weekends I treat myself to a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato. My breakfast is very simple I make myself scrabbled egg whites with Mrs Dash seasoning and a handful of blueberries.
8:45AM: TO-DO LIST
I make my To-Do lists. Making these lists give me clarity in the mornings. I love jotting down what needs to be done for the day. I like to prioritize and cross things off when I’m done. It’s a satisfaction thing for me.
9:00am: Smile and start the day!
I say out loud 3-5 things that I’m grateful for. Try doing this, honestly it starts your day off just right.
